Julia Barbour is a visual artist based in New Paltz, New York, primarily focusing on painting, drawing and collage practices. In 2025, Julia received her undergraduate bachelor's degree in Painting and Drawing at SUNY New Paltz with a minor in Art History. Her work has been exhibited in group shows at Kaje World gallery (2024), the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art BFA Thesis Exhibition (2025) at SUNY New Paltz, Women's Work Art Gallery (2025), and in the 2026 Winter Juried Exhibition at Blue Mountain Gallery. During her undergraduate study, she was the recipient of the Student Opportunity Grant which aided in her BFA thesis installation (2025).
